Quiet neighborhood. Neighbors are aware of the comings and goings; but, are not intrusive. Bradley School is a great K-5 facility on the hill across from our local fire station, Hotchkiss Hose. Most rec department sports are played on Bradley's fields. Witek Park has soccer fields and walking trails around our reservoir. Also, the Riverwalk is great to walk without traffic. Derby is small enough for sll students to feel part of the school and community. Small is, also, good for try-outs for school sports, music and AP classes. We LOVE having Griffin Hospital in Derby. Great people, great service, fabulous volunteer opportunies.
