This zoning district is characterized by medium and large lots and is designed to promote the development of uses such as auto service centers, research and development parks, construction industries, incidental wholesale and retail activity, outdoor storage, and assembly/light manufacturing uses. Residential uses of any kind are prohibited in this district with the exception of emergency shelters. The LM zoning district is consistent with the industrial land use designation of the General Plan.
